- ★ ★ ★ ☆ ☆I brought my pet for desexing with a $50 coupon to be used. I called up the clinic TWICE to confirm Im able to use the coupon for the surgery while Im comparing the price with other clinic. However, upon payment they informed me that I cannot use the $50 coupon as I used another one in my first checkup 3 months ago. There is NO terms and conditions written on the coupon about this, they just made up some excuses. If I know this, I might just bring my dog to the local vet. Moreover, the receptionist told me my pet will definitely have a e-collar after the surgery without extra charge when I drop my dog in. When I pick my dog up, he is not wearing any e-collar, and the staff there are even not aware he needs one, NOT UNTIL I ASKED. They even asked me to buy one if I really want one. BUT isnt this supposed to be the component included in the whole treatment which have already cost me $600+?! I was reading the post-op care instructions at night, and I noticed its clearly written down that "do not remove PROVIDED e-collar until the sutures are removed"!!! AND THEY EVEN DIDNT ASKED ME TO GO BACK FOR THE SUTURE REMOVAL AT ALL!!!!! After the whole experience at Greencross vet Castle Hill, I feel Ive been ripped off and Im so disappointed right now. I regret for bringing my dog over there because the staff and the vet is so INRESPONSIBLE, they are just too MONEY DRIVEN, selling their own pet insurance and asking owners to pay extra fees which supposed to be included in the treatment. ONE MORE THING: I didnt get a chance to meet the VET who was doing the surgery for my dog, I was communicating with the front desk girls the whole time.
